Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information the Oxxy iOS app (“Oxxy”, “we”) collects, how it is used and the choices you have. Oxxy is developed by Nikita Yamshchikov.
Information stored on your device
Your practice history – completed exercises, minutes, breath count, level, awards and settings – is stored locally on your iPhone. Oxxy does not require an account and does not upload this history to our servers. Deleting the app deletes this data.
Analytics and crash reports
To understand which features are used and to fix crashes, Oxxy uses the following third-party services, which may receive app usage events (for example, “exercise finished”), device and app information (device model, OS version, app version, language), an app-specific device identifier and approximate location derived from your IP address:
- Amplitude – product analytics (privacy policy)
- Google Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics – analytics and crash reports (privacy information)
- AppMetrica by Yandex – analytics and crash reports (privacy policy)
- Meta (Facebook SDK) – app events for measuring app installs and usage (privacy policy)
Oxxy does not request permission to track you across apps and websites owned by other companies (App Tracking Transparency) and does not use the advertising identifier. We do not sell your personal information.
Purchases
Oxxy is free. Subscriptions bought in earlier versions were processed by Apple; we never receive your payment details.
Contacting us
If you email us, we use your email address and message only to reply to you.
Children
Oxxy is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Your choices and rights
You can stop all data collection by deleting the app. To ask about, access or delete data held by the analytics providers listed above in connection with your device, contact us at nyamschikov@gmail.com and we will help with the request.
Apple Health and Apple Watch
If you allow it, Oxxy uses Apple HealthKit to save each finished breathing exercise to the Health app as Mindful Minutes and, when you use Oxxy with Apple Watch, as a Mind & Body workout. With Apple Watch, Oxxy also reads your heart rate during an exercise to show it live and compare it before and after.
Health data stays on your iPhone and Apple Watch. Oxxy does not send it to our servers or to the analytics services listed above, does not use it for advertising or marketing, and does not sell or share it with anyone. You can turn access on or off at any time in Oxxy Settings or in the Health app (Profile → Apps → Oxxy).
Reminders
If you turn on the daily reminder, Oxxy schedules local notifications on your device. No data is sent anywhere to deliver them.
Health information
Oxxy is a wellness app, not a medical device, and does not provide medical advice. Heart-rate readings are for your information only. We do not collect health records.
Changes
We may update this policy. The effective date above shows when it was last changed.
